In most homes, bathrooms are often relegated to the background — expected to be functional, quietly efficient, and seldom the focal point. In our approach to designing homes, bathrooms are anything but an afterthought. They’re immersive environments, thoughtfully considered extensions of the home’s identity — spaces that speak softly, yet powerfully, through materiality, mood, and detail.

Here’s a peek inside four very different residential projects — each one telling a unique story through its bathroom design.
1. A Study in Shadow and Reflection

Dark, dramatic, and quietly indulgent — this bathroom leans into a cinematic atmosphere. Deep-toned marble stretches across surfaces, accentuated by linear light details embedded in the walls and ceiling. Twin basins rest on a sleek green stone counter, flanked by polished copper fittings. The design is unapologetically bold, with an undercurrent of restraint — the kind of space where every element is intentional, yet nothing screams for attention.
2. Substance Meets Glamour

Wrapped in a highly veined marble with warm ochre and charcoal streaks, this powder room walks the line between opulence and intimacy. The vanity, clad in brass-toned textured panels, adds a refined richness, while the matte black basin provides contrast and modern edge. Gold accents tie the composition together, creating a tactile, sensorial moment within a compact footprint.
3. Mediterranean Warmth in the Tropics

Bright, airy, and full of charm — this bathroom reflects the relaxed soul of a coastal home. Patterned tiles run across both floor and walls, evoking the feeling of a breezy Mediterranean retreat. A clean white basin sits atop a warm wooden vanity, surrounded by indoor plants, woven baskets, and natural light. The space feels effortless yet layered, reminding us that comfort and elegance can coexist without compromise.
4. A Case of Monochrome and Movement

Sculptural stone takes centre stage here, with walls clad in flowing striations of grey and cream. The floating vanity and circular mirror echo the organic softness of the marble, while frameless glass enclosures keep the focus on the material. Natural light filters through, gently illuminating the details. It’s a serene, tactile space. One that invites pause and presence.
Crafting Quiet Luxury
Across these four homes, what emerges is a shared sensibility: a commitment to timelessness, material honesty, and an unwavering attention to atmosphere. Whether moody or sunlit, layered or minimal, these bathrooms are designed not only to function but also to feel.
In the world of FTS, even the most private spaces are treated with the same reverence as a living room or library. Because design, after all, lives in the details and no corner is too quiet to be considered.
