ARJUNA

This installation, inspired by Arjuna, narrates the tale of the Redemption of the Five Apsaras, where he rescues heavenly maidens cursed to live as crocodiles. Designed by Disha Bhavsar & Shivani Ajmera of Quirk Studio, the totem expresses five virtues through distinct materials.

Courage is represented by wood, symbolizing resilience and adaptability, growing stronger with time. Strength is embodied in marble, with its tough exterior and refined beauty signifying power and grace. Intelligence is depicted through metal, reflecting clarity, precision, and adaptability, much like the evolving mind. Humility is symbolized by concrete, a steady and unassuming foundation that supports everything around it. Lastly, Wisdom is represented by glass, embodying transparency, insight, and the ability to see the world with clarity.

Together, these elements illustrate Arjuna’s heroic act and the deeper journey of redemption, transformation, and inner balance.
